The Second Secret To Success: Birds Of A Feather, Flock Together...

It's true, birds of a feather flock together - you will never see an Eagle flying with Pigeons. You should take a lesson from this. Be an Eagle.

In a hurry? Listen on the go!

Choose to Be an Eagle

Imagine the majestic sight of an eagle soaring high above the skies. Notice how it never flies in the company of pigeons.

The eagle, a symbol of strength and determination, teaches us a valuable lesson: be an eagle in life.

Embrace the qualities of ambition, perseverance, and a soaring spirit. Surround yourself with people who share these traits, for they will propel you towards your dreams.

As the great American entrepreneur and author Jim Rohn once said, "You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with."

Reflect on this for a moment.

Your success and personal growth are significantly influenced by the people you surround yourself with.

It's time to evaluate your current circle and ask yourself, "Are these people helping me grow, or are they holding me back?"

If birds of a feather flock together, and you are surrounded by pigeons, then you need to make your escape otherwise you will be destined for a life of mediocrity always looking up at the Eagles above...

if birds of a feather flock together then be like an eagle

Letting Go of Negative Influences

If you feel like your relationships with people are holding you back, then fire them! You are the boss of your destiny and you don't have to put up with second and third rate relationships.

If you find that certain relationships are hindering your progress, it's time to take charge of your destiny.

If some people in your life aren't supporting your pursuit of growth and success, it's crucial to let them go.

Aim to distance yourself from those who harbor a negative outlook on life or possess a victim mentality. Instead, surround yourself with positive-minded individuals who are eager to grow and thrive.

You, as a success-seeker, deserve a circle of like-minded, motivated, and ambitious individuals who will uplift and inspire you - remember, birds of a feather flock together.

Embrace a Growth Mindset

Embrace a Growth Mindset

A lot of people are negative about life and the things around them.

A lot of people live life with a victim mentality and think that the world is so unfair and bad things just happen to them.

A lot of people sit and let life happen to them, and watch each day pass by as they struggle from day to day with no purpose other than to make it to the next day.

A lot of people aren't successful....

but that's not you, you aren't like a lot of people.

How do I know that?

Because you are here, reading this, looking for ways to grow, to become a better you, you WILL be successful, just keep grinding, stand guard at the gates of your mind and do not let the negativity from these people into your head.

You should feed your mind with positive content each day - you cannot grow with a closed mindset.

Place a baby shark into a fish bowl, and it will grow no larger that a few inches, place that same shark in a vast ocean, and it will develop and grow into an elite hunting machine at the top of the food chain.

This concept stands true for you and I - we will only grow when we place ourselves in an environment conducive to it, and this is what the term birds of a feather flock together really means.

Change your environment, change your life's trajectory.

The Power Of The Mastermind

Once you have expunged the people from your life that add no value, the next thing you need to do is to rebuild your circle of influence with other people who are also on a mission to grow, become better and lead successful lives, making a positive impact on the world, people who are at least at your level or ideally above.

When we put ourselves around people who are further ahead than we are, it forces us to up our game, as opposed to being around people who are not as far along than us which makes us feel 'comfortable'.

If you find you are the brightest bulb in the room, then get a new room, because let me tell you from experience, being 'comfortable' is deadly to your dreams.

That is why you need, let me just say that again to emphasize it a little more, YOU NEED to get yourself around people that are going to challenge you and stimulate your growth.

If you have read 'Think And Grow Rich' (which I hope you have - but if not, you can download it as part of our free success resource pack by CLICKING HERE), then you will know that one of the key principles of success identified as being present in all of the great leaders that were studied, was that they leveraged the power of the mastermind.

The mastermind is when 2 or more people co-ordinate their thoughts with a focus on achieving a common goal.

It has been said that when 2 people put their minds together, the resultant thinking is greater than the sum of the parts, in other words, it is as if their is an extra mind working in tandem to solve a particular issue.
